In the Neighborhood / Little Fish
We brewed this lavish stout with our good pals at Little Fish back in March of 2024, and the brew day had a very interesting twist! After running off the strongest wort from the mash into our kettle, we collected 12bbls of lower gravity āsecond runningsā from the remaining mash into a transferable tote. This is a historical brewing technique called āparti-gyleā brewing! The tote was taken to Little Fish where they added it to their kettle and brewed a Dark Mild Ale called, āHit Clipsā. What fun! 22 months after aging in New York AppleJack barrels, In the Neighborhood emerged. We had a great collaborative blending session with the Little Fish team, & weāre all super pleased with the product weāre presenting and honored to share it with you.
